POWER PLANT®

Power Plant is another newish strain that has
made it big-time. Developed from a new South
African strain, it has not been hybridised but totally
inbred. The result is a plant that is high in THC,
has a strong and vigorous growth pattern and is a
big cropper whether under lights or in a greenhouse.
Indoors, Power Plant ® is a fast flowering strain with
the first flowers forming after the first week under a
shortened lighting cycle; in the greenhouse, the
plant flowers late but ripens very rapidly. Wherever
it is grown, Power Plant® has the potential to
produce an extremely worthwhile crop.
Flowering period: 8 weeks.
Finishing date: Second week of October.
'Feminised' (all female) seeds available: fl. 170.00

SKUNK No. 1

The grand matriarch. Mother and grandma to many
siblings, Skunk No. 1 is probably the most influencial
plant in the cannabis breeders lexicon. Originally a
sativa/indica mix (75%/25%) with the sativa influence
coming from Mexican Acupulco Gold and Columbian
Gold, Skunk No. 1 has been inbed subsequently to
produce an expremely stable and productive plant.
With a very high flower to leaf ratio, long and thick
buds, a sweet aroma and a very strong 'up' high, this
is a good commercial plant that is easy to manicure.
Although this plant grows extremely well in a green-
house, its late completion date suggests that some
kind of photoperiod control might be advisable to
assist in the development of buds.
Flowering period: 7 to 11 weeks.
Finishing date: First half of November.
'Feminised' (all female) seeds available: fl. 100.00

ORIGINAL BLUE VELVET®

This member of 'the blue family' is a gem. Producing
trademark 'foxtail buds,' Original Blue Velvet is
a fifty/fifty Indica/Sativa cross for indoor or green-
house growth. As the buds develop so do the red,
lavender and purple colours that mark this group of
plants. The colouring is evident on the undersides
of leaves and, as the buds, develops on the extremely
large calyxes which often have dark stripes of
colour. The matrure buds give off a strong floral and
fruity aroma and have a very sweet taste. The plant
produces a very cerebral and dynamic high.

Flowering period: 8 to 9 weeks.
Finishing date: Mid October.

VOODOO®

Voodoo is a greenhouse or outdoor plant developed
from Thai parents. The progenitors of this plant had
been grown the Netherlands for many years and had
become extremely stable. The result is a plant that
has a strongly Sativa high, a wonderful distinctly Thai
aroma and taste and is extremely productive for comm-
ercial growth. The long, thick buds produce a fresh and
invigorating smell and have a sweetly delicious taste.

Finishing date: Early October.

DURBAN POISON

An exclusively inbred strain of the famous South
African plant. Interrestingly this is a 100% Sativa
lant that has a not too long flowering period.
Although the plant produces the larger bud
leaves characteristic of the sativas, the buds them-
selves are extremely large and long. A high resin
producing plant, Durban Poison has a distinctive
licorice or aniseed smell and taste and a very 'up'
Thai-like high. An extremely versatile plant that can
be grown indoors as well as outside, Durban Poison
is a good plant to use in crossbreeding to bring
down the length of flowering in late blooming plants.
Flowering period: 8 to 9 weeks.
Finishing date: End of September.
'Feminised' (all female) seeds available: fl. 160.00

KHOLA®

Another indoor/outdoor strain. This one is a fairly
newly developed strain that was produced from
interesting progentitors -- a Thai and a Brazilian.
Originally developed for outdoor growing this is
a plant that has been found to respond well under
lights.

Flowering period: 7 to 10 weeks.
Finishing date: Second week of September.
